Prescription Spinal Rehabilitation exercises
Research has found that patients with persistent spinal pain are often significantly deconditioned and can be assisted with Spinal Strengthening [1]. Core muscles, designed to support our spine, become inhibited (switch off) due to pain. This leads to weakness and spinal instability, causing the spine to become even more vulnerable to injury.
At Spine Central we offer treatment to specifically tackle this spinal deconditioning. Specific prescribed exercises isolate the deep, core muscles surrounding the spine allowing targeted training of these muscles within a controlled, pain-free range of movement and loading.
