What should I bring with me when I come for my initial Chiropractic appointment?
- Any related medical reports, scans, X-rays or other tests
- Health fund card if you wish to use Hi-Caps facility
- Medicare card and referral letter if your GP has referred you under the Medicare EPC program
- Comfortable fitting clothing
Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
No. You can make an appointment as a private patient.
What should I expect during first visit?
During your first visit your condition will be thoroughly assessed by asking questions and conducting a physical examination. We will review any X-rays and scans that you bring with you and which may provide further insight into your condition. Your history and examination findings will be explained to you so you may better understand the nature of your condition and proposed treatment options. In most cases treatment commences once your condition has been explained to you and you have agreed to the planned treatment plan. This is known as informed patient consent.
